The county health department noted as of Aug. 19, the level of COVID-19 transmission in the county is low.
As of Aug. 18, there have been 11,993 total positive cases, close to 720 hospitalizations and 127 deaths in the county. According to the state as of Aug. 18, the daily average of positive tests amongst county residents is 6.4%, and the weekly average of cases per 100K is 11.9.
The recent percentage of county residents fully vaccinated that are 5 years-or-older is 63.3%. Additional numbers show that 58.9% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
