Low pressure will be replaced by high pressure today, making for changing conditions between the morning and afternoon.

Thick low clouds and some areas of drizzle are possible throughout the morning hours. Some of these clouds could linger into the afternoon before dry air begins to erode away at the overcast.

There is also some uncertainty in the timing of sunshine in these scenarios, but the sun will most likely make its appearance during the early to mid afternoon.

Once the sun is out, skies will become mostly clear. Clear skies will persist into the evening hours until some fog develops overnight.

A light north wind will blow between the two opposite pressure systems. Look for wind speeds near or just over 5 mph with gusts staying under 20 mph.

Temperatures will be held in check by the north winds and clouds with afternoon highs in the low and mid 70s. As usual, the higher elevations to the north will be coolest, while the southern parts of the county will be warmest.

Evening temperatures will quickly drop into the 50s. Overnight lows are expected to reach the low 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower late. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Tuesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs around 80.
