The McGraw Eagles have started their regular season off with a 2-0 record after defeating Faith Heritage at home on Saturday (September 3rd, 2022).

The Eagles won the game with a final score of 2-0.

“It was a really well played game by both sides,” said McGraw Head Coach Jamey Crumb. “We were able to possess and attack for the majority of the first half, and just couldn't get one to go in.”

The first half ended with both teams scoreless.

McGraw’s Jackson Pitcher scored the Eagles’ first goal of the game after heading the ball into the goal off a corner kick from Logan Moffitt.

The Eagles’ were then able to further their lead, as Jaydon Bassett headed the ball into the back of the net off a free kick from Noah Heath to make it 2-0 with close to 2 minutes remaining.

According to Coach Crumb, McGraw’s defense played really well in order to get their second shutout of the season.
