Homer Lady Trojans Defeat Living World Academy on Senior Night

The Homer Volleyball team had a successful senior night after defeating Living World Academy in four sets on Monday (October 17th).

With this result, Homer improved their overall record to 8-6. 

Six seniors from Homer (Madison Wethje, Lyla Read, Melina Hage, Amanda Rood, Riley Johnson, and Abigail Coolidge) were honored at last night’s match. 

Throughout the match, Homer was led by Lilly Sorenson (10 kills, 4 aces & 17 digs), Madison Wethje (26 assists, 6 digs & 1 kill), and Mackenzie Hubbard (6 kills, 3 aces & 9 digs). 

Living World Academy was led by Helena Robinson (15 kills, 18 digs & 2 aces), Regina Fernandez (27 assists, 5 digs, 1 ace & 1 kill), and Grace Plewak (9 kills, 15 digs, 2 aces, 1 assist & 1 block).
