A weak weather system will continue to send a few showers into the area today.

Like yesterday, much of the time will be cloudy, but a few glimpses of sunshine will be possible here and there.

Scattered showers will be possible throughout the day, but especially in the afternoon.

These showers should be light, and some areas may only see a couple hundredths of an inch of rainfall. Most of the time, it will not be raining.

The rain showers should end by sunset, but skies will remain cloudy through the evening and overnight. A bit of drizzle or fog cannot be ruled out.

Winds will be light today with speeds only around 5 mph. Morning winds will come from the south, but afternoon and evening winds will swing around to the northwest.

Nonetheless, temperatures will still be above average today. Look for afternoon highs near or just above 60 degrees. Evening temperatures will only drop to the low and mid 50s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Morning clouds. Then, becoming sunny. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. A few thin clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Saturday: Sun and thin clouds. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
