A Homer woman was arrested this past Friday after she stole items worth over $1,000, according to a New York State Police report.
The report stated that Ashley L. Jenkins, 37 of Homer, scanned some items but failed to scan items worth over $1,000 at the Walmart in the town of Cortlandville.
Jenkins was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny (a Class-E Felony). She was released on appearance tickets and is now set to appear in Cortlandville town court on Nov. 28.
