High pressure will finally bring some sunshine to the area today.

Any clouds will be limited to very early this morning and very late this afternoon. The potential clouds late today will be thin and non-obtrusive.

Without clouds in the sky, precipitation will not fall today.

Cloud will increase tonight but will remain thin and free of precipitation.

Winds will be out of the north, but light, with speeds around 5 mph. Top gusts on the day will be under 20 mph.

The north winds will counteract the warming effects of the sunshine. High temperatures will thus end up close to the seasonal averages in the mid 30s.

Temperatures will fall into the 20s this evening as winds turn to the east and remain steady. Overnight lows should end up in the low 20s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs near 40.

Sunday: Light snow. Some accumulation possible, especially in higher terrain. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Monday: Early snow showers. Some late sun. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
