High pressure will keep the weather quiet today, but signs of active weather tomorrow will be present.

Skies should be sunny through the morning and deep into the afternoon. Late in the day, thin clouds will arrive from the southwest and will increase and thicken after sunset.

Winds will be light from the east and northeast during the daytime hours. Wind speeds will be near or under 5 mph.

As the clouds move in, winds will turn to the southeast and increase with speeds up to 10 mph.

Temperatures will remain near average with highs in the mid to upper 30s. A few places, like the city of Cortland, may sneak as high as 40 degrees.

This evening, temperatures will drop back to around 30 degrees. Overnight lows will make it to the mid 20s.

A few snow showers may move in after midnight, with steadier snow expected by early Sunday morning.
