High pressure over eastern Canada will have control of our weather today.

Sunshine is likely throughout the day though a few stray clouds cannot be totally ruled out. No precipitation is expected during the daytime hours.

Northwest winds will blow at just over 5 mph. Gusts will come in around 20 mph.

Temperatures will be cool, but not far off the climatological averages. Look for highs mostly in the low 30s.

Tonight, a subtle front will drop southeast out of New England. This should bring in a few clouds and maybe even a stray flurry. At other times, though, it will be a moonlit night.

Nighttime temperatures will drop to the low 20s this evening and then into the mid 10s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Periods of clouds and periods of mixed skies. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs near 30.

Thursday: Increasingly cloudy with late snow or icy precipitation possible. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Friday: Snow or mixed precipitation possible. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s

Saturday: Scattered snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s
