A man was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs in the town of Homer, according to a Cortland County Sheriff’s Office report.
The report stated that county sheriff’s officers conducted a traffic stop for lane violations near Route 90 and Sweeney Road in Homer.
Officers discovered Lyle T. Pierce, 51 of Bridgeport, was driving his car while impaired by drugs.
Pierce was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving to the left of pavement markings and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned, released and now due to appear in Homer town court on March 21.
