Updates were provided for the upcoming third week of construction on Main Street in the city of Cortland.

Construction on Main Street is the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) projects. Cortland started working on projects last year.

According to the Crown City Rising website, construction crews for the week of April 10-14 will continue water main installation at the intersection of Main Street, West Court Street and Court Street. This will include alternate lane closures, with construction flaggers on site.

With construction work continuing in this area, parking restrictions will remain in proximity to the NBT Bank and Marketplace Mall on Main Street.

City mayor Scott Steve is asking everyone to commute accordingly, follow detour directions and be mindful of construction workers.

For more information or suggestions to alternative routes, go to the Crown City Rising website. A full layout of Cortland’s DRI projects can be seen here.
