High pressure will dominate the weather today as it builds in overhead.

Light northwest winds will blow much of the day as the high approaches. Wind speeds will be around 5 mph with gusts around 15 mph.

There should be plenty of sunshine, though a few clouds may mix in from time to time. Both thin clouds high in the atmosphere, and a few lower fair weather clouds will be possible. No rain or snow will fall, though.

Temperatures are starting out cool and will remain slightly below average this afternoon. Highs will be similar to yesterday in the mid 40s.

Tonight, winds will become calm, and skies will become mostly clear. Evening temperatures will fall through the 30s. By dawn Sunday, temperatures should be in the mid 20s.
