High pressure will continue to dominate the weather today.

The center of the high will slide to our southeast today, allowing for warmer air to start moving in on the backside of the high.

Winds will remain light but will be from the southwest and west. Wind speeds will again be under 5 mph.

Despite the weak winds, temperatures will jump nearly ten degrees over yesterday for a high near or slightly above 60 degrees.

The air will be dry with dewpoints in the 20s. This will produce afternoon relative humidity values under 30-percent.

Sunshine will be plentiful, with only a few thin clouds moving in late in the afternoon and persisting into the evening and overnight hours.

Evening temperatures will fall into the mid 40s with overnight lows in the mid and upper 30s.

Southwest winds will increase slightly during the nighttime hours with speeds around or just over 5 mph.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Clouds with some sun filtering through. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Sun and a few clouds. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
