High pressure will be parked overhead today, leading to weather that is about as quiet as is possible.

Skies will be mostly sunny from start to finish today. Any clouds should be limited to a few thin wisps or very small fair weather clouds. For the most part, though, it will just be blue skies.

Winds will be almost as non-existent as clouds, with just a whisper of a light breeze from the north and northeast. Wind speeds will be under 5 mph and top gusts around just 10 mph.

Without the cool winds of the previous two days, temperatures will get a small bump upwards and will be right about on the climatological averages for the day. Look for highs in the low 50s this afternoon, with temperatures falling back to the mid 30s this evening.

Clear skies will persist tonight, but the center of high pressure will shift to the southeast, leading to a light south wind developing. This should keep temperatures from falling further than the upper 20s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Sunny with a few late clouds. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs around 60.

Tuesday: Clouds with some sun filtering through. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Sun and a few clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
