Today will be another warm, sunny day as high pressure centered over the southeastern United States continues to dominate the weather pattern.

Winds today will be lighter than the past few days. West-southwest winds will blow at 5 to 10 mph with gusts peaking around 20 mph.

Humidity values will also come up a little, with a minimum of 40-45 percent. That will help reduce the brush fire risk somewhat, but conditions will still be conducive to fires.

Skies will be sun-filled throughout the day with few, if any, clouds in place.

Temperatures will be at their warmest yet this week with highs in the upper 70s.

Skies will remain mostly clear this evening, but some thin clouds may move in overnight. Temperatures will fall to the upper 50s this evening and low 50s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Friday: Sun and thin clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Very small chance for a late shower. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Sunday: More clouds than sun. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Monday: Cloudy with showers. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.
