The Marathon town board will hold a public hearing for a local law on updates to the town’s uniform fire and building code.
The hearing will be held prior to the town’s scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. May 9.
The local law, the town’s first proposed law of 2023, will cover the fire, life and structural aspects of all buildings and related structures. Updates to the town’s code will be in compliance with the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
