According to Crown City Rising, work resumed on Monday to complete the final phase of the Clinton Avenue Gateway Construction Project.
Final work includes:
- Completion of the bioretention plantings and concrete pavers
- Proceeding with colored crosswalks this Wednesday
- Completion of final striping between Greenbush Street and Main Street
Cleanup of the corridor will also continue, including:
- Adjusting drainage basin hoods
- Verifying all utility covers and pull boxes are installed and flush to the finished ground
- Completion of all driveway asphalt
- Topsoil all remaining areas
- Hydroseeding all remaining areas
- Final sweep and clean roadway, all sidewalks, and all properties to condition as good or better than pre-construction

The Clinton Avenue Gateway Construction Project is separate from the Downtown Revitalization Project, which is ongoing at Main Street in Cortland.
