May will start off with cool, unsettled weather as low pressure meanders nearby.

Rain will be possible at any time today, but it will not be a steady rain during the daytime hours. Instead, on and off showers, many of them lasting only a few minutes, are expected.

During the late morning and afternoon hours especially, some of the showers may contain some small hail or graupel.

Temperatures will rise to around or just over 50 degrees.

It will also be a blustery day with southwest winds blowing at 10-15 mph. Top gusts will come in around 35 mph.

During the evening hours, showers will increase and may become steady at times.

Some snow may also mix in over higher elevations as evening temperatures drop to around 40 degrees, and then into the mid and upper 30s overnight. Some grassy surfaces may turn white with a light coating by Tuesday morning.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Periods of light rain and drizzle. Some early morning snow mixing in. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Wednesday: Scattered showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Thursday: A few showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Friday: Clouds, some sun, and a few more showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
