Low pressure will continue to meander around the region, sending more cool, unsettled weather our way.

Showers will increase during the mid to late morning hours and will continue throughout the afternoon. Today’s rain will be a bit more widespread than yesterday, with small groups of showers passing through. It may rain for an hour or so at a time, stop for a while, then start raining again.

Skies should remain mostly to completely cloudy even between the showers.

Temperatures will mostly be in the upper 40s today, though some of the hilltops may stick to the mid 40s.

Winds will be from the southwest with speeds of 5-10 mph. Top gusts will come in around 20 mph.

Tonight, the precipitation should taper off some. A few evening showers will continue to be possible, but a better chance for precipitation will come well after midnight.

This precipitation may mix with or even turn over to snow, especially in higher elevations. A light coating on grassy surfaces will be possible. Overnight temperatures will bottom out in the mid 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Morning snow and rain. Afternoon showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Thursday: A few showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Friday: Clouds, some sun, and a few last showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Dry. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs around 60.
