Regional grocery store chain recalls grated cheese products

A regional grocery chain recently recalled a handful of their branded grated cheese products, according to a release. 

Price Chopper/Market 32, a grocery chain located in the Northeast region that includes a store in the town of Cortlandville, recalled its “PICS” grated cheese products ranging from parmesan cheese to cotija cheese.

“We are recalling these products as they are not up to our quality standards,” noted in the release from Price Chopper/Market 32.

The list of grated cheese products recalled is as follows:

  • Parmesan Grated Cheese (3oz)
  • Parmesan Grated Cheese (8oz)
  • Parmesan Grated Cheese (16oz)
  • Italian Parmesan Grated Cheese (8oz)
  • Hot and Spicy Parmesan Grated Cheese (8oz)
  • Garlic and Herb Parmesan Grated Cheese (8oz)
  • Romano Parmesan Grated Cheese (8oz)
  • Three Cheese Parmesan Grated Cheese (8oz)
  • Cotija Grated Cheese (8oz)

Those affected by any of these products can return it to the store at 854 State Rt. 13 in the town of Cortlandville, or any nearby stores.
