A quick moving weather system will move through the area tonight with some rain showers.

Out ahead of this system, clouds will gradually increase and thicken this morning. Some early sun is likely, but will become filtered and then blocked as the day goes on.

There will be a small chance for a few stray showers during the latter half of the afternoon. The better chances for rain will come after sunset, when most areas should see at least some rainfall.

During the evening, a rumble of thunder or a brief downpour will also be possible. The rain should depart well before sunrise.

Temperatures will warm into the upper 60s this afternoon and a few places could hit 70 degrees. Winds will be light and variable with speeds under 5 mph and wind switching between southwest, west, and northwest.

Evening temperatures will dip into the mid 50s with overnight lows ending up in the mid 40s.
