A weak weather system passed through the area last night and is already out of the picture. In its place, high pressure from Canada will nose its way in.

Skies will have plenty of sunshine today though some occasional clouds will also mix in. Most of the clouds will be thin and inconsequential.

No precipitation is expected.

A light northwest wind will blow this morning with speeds up to 5 mph. This will build during the afternoon, peaking near 10 mph with gusts of 25 mph.

Afternoon highs will be near average, topping out in the low and mid 60s.

Tonight, skies will clear, and temperatures will initially drop to the mid 40s this evening. Overnight lows will end up around 40 degrees.

Friday: Sun and thin clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
