A man who was rescued from his overturned vehicle in the town of Cortlandville last year recently returned to the area of the accident.

During the early-morning hours of Dec. 16 of last year, a vehicle rolled over into a creek off Kinney Gulf Road in Cortlandville.

The occupant of the vehicle, Gregory Robinson of Cortlandville, was trapped inside his vehicle.

Cortlandville volunteer fireman Jonathan Alteri, along with aid from a bystander, rescued Robinson from his vehicle that was submerged in icy water.

Robinson recently returned to the area of the accident to join town highway superintendent Larry Drach. According to the town, Drach recently repaired the guardrail that came undone during the accident.
