The weather will be quiet today, bringing us a normal early June type of day.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. Most of the clouds will be small puffy fair weather clouds, though some thin wispy clouds high in the atmosphere will also be possible late in the day.

Precipitation will be hard to come by, but a stray shower cannot be totally ruled out.

Winds will be typical with speeds over 5 mph, but generally under 10 mph. Top gusts will be around 20 mph. Wind speeds will be from the northwest.

Other than some brief patches of smoke higher in the atmosphere, there should be little to be concerned about with smoke and air quality.

Temperatures will be close to the seasonal averages with highs in the low to perhaps mid 70s.

Clouds will start to increase tonight, and a light south wind will develop. That will keep evening temperatures in the 50s with an overnight low just under 50 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: More clouds than sun. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with rain during the afternoon and evening. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Tuesday: Perhaps a lingering shower early. Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with rain showers. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs near 70.
