Your Cortland County weather forecast for Tuesday, June 13, 2023:

The weather today will be tranquil between rainy days.
No rainfall is expected during the daytime hours today. Skies will be a mix of sunshine and puffy fair weather clouds.
The clouds will be most plentiful from the late morning through the late afternoon. As the sun begins to set, the clouds should begin to dissipate.
However, some unsettled weather over western New York will make its way towards our area for the evening. While rain should be limited to a stray shower here or there, clouds will increase and remain most of the night.
Another chance for some showers will come during the predawn hours as a precursor to a showery Wednesday.
Temperatures today will work their way up to a high around 70 degrees. Most areas will nudge just a bit higher than 70, but a few of the hilltops may not quite make it all the way there.
Tonight, temperatures will drop to the mid 50s with overnight lows around 50 degrees.
Winds today will be from the southwest and west at gentle speeds around 5 mph.
