Our area will be between weather systems today, resulting in some quiet weather.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. Much of the day will have puffy fair-weather clouds. These may become numerous from the late morning through the afternoon, making it more cloudy than sunny.

As these clouds grow, there is a small chance for a brief, isolated shower this afternoon. Most areas will not see rain, and those that do will see very little.

Northwest winds will blow with speeds greater than 5 mph, but less than 10 mph. Top gusts on the day should be around 20 mph.

Temperatures will be warmer than yesterday with highs making it into the low 70s.

Tonight, new clouds will build in ahead of the next weather maker. A few showers may even arrive between midnight and dawn.

Temperatures overnight will dip down into the low 50s with light winds.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Friday: Cloudy with numerous showers. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Saturday: Clouds, some sun, and a few showers. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs near 70.

Sunday: Clouds, some sun, and a few showers. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Monday: Partly cloudy. Maybe a shower. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
