Multiple construction projects are taking place in Cortland, starting today (June 26).

Projects on Main Street is the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) projects. Cortland started working on projects last year.

According to Crown City Rising, Construction crews are expected to complete the tie-in of the new water mains at the intersection of Main Street, North Main Street, Groton Avenue and Clinton Avenue.

Crews will also be installing water and sewer services along the east side of Main Street between Court Street and Port Watson Street.

Construction work will cause parking restrictions on the east and west sides of Main Street. All work this week is subject to weather.

For more information or suggestions to alternative routes, go to the Crown City Rising website. A full layout of Cortland’s DRI projects can be seen here.
