A Cortland County man is facing sexual abuse allegations from two victims, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office report stated that Delanne G. Shelton, 59, allegedly subjected two victims to “inappropriate contact” on several occasions between 2022 and this year at an undisclosed location in the town of Cortlandville.
The victims, one of them under 17 years of age, know Shelton.
Shelton was arrested on Saturday and charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse (a Class-D Felony) and endangering the welfare of a child (a Class-A Misdemeanor).
Shelton appeared in Cortlandville town court on Monday. Details on his next court appearance remain to be seen.
