County Sheriff: Woman allegedly switches barcodes, leads to false entries

A woman was arrested on a warrant Wednesday following a months-long investigation, according to a report.

The report stated that between November and December 2022, Daniella Dellow, 34, of Cortland, allegedly switched pricing barcodes on merchandise “for a lesser value” at the Walmart store in the town of Cortlandville.

This created “false entries and sales” in Walmart’s inventory system, the report continued.

Dellow was charged with first-degree falsifying business records (a Class-E Felony) and five counts of petit larceny (a Class-A Misdemeanor). She was arraigned, released and now due to appear in Cortlandville town court this upcoming Wednesday.
