Today will be a dry and pleasant day between rainy, humid ones.

A cold front that moved through late yesterday has set us up with some cooler, less humid weather today.

Dewpoints, which have been around 70 for several days, will be in the 50s today. For most people, this will bring some welcome relief, though it will be brief.

Temperatures will be close to average today with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Thin clouds will mix with sunshine throughout the day. The clouds may filter the sun a bit at times, but overall, it should be a fairly bright day.

Winds will be light today, with speeds under 5 mph or even calm at times. The wind direction will be variable.

Tonight, temperatures will drop to the mid 60s during the evening and into the low 60s overnight. Clouds will increase and rain may start to fall again before the sun rises.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Rain and thunderstorms likely. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. A few lingering showers. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a late shower or storm. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
