Various installations and renovations are included in updates on construction in the city of Cortland.

Projects on Main Street is the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) projects. Cortland started working on projects last year.

According to Crown City Rising, the updates include a couple of projects and will go from Wednesday (July 12) to Friday (July 14).

The first project has construction crews continuing to install water and services along the east side of Main Street between Clinton Avenue and Court Street. The pressure testing of new water mains and water laterals, along with water quality testing, will also continue.

Crews will also continue to repair and renovate the various vaults along Main Street.

Traffic will be maintained along Main Street with multiple lane shifts in place. The city is asking to follow detour directions and be mindful of crews.
