Bailey Place Insurance is pleased to announce that Kerri Bushnell has earned the designation of Certified School Risk Manager, following her successful completion of a rigorous insurance education program sponsored by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.

Dr. William T. Hold, President and CEO of the Alliance conferred the designation last week. A CSRM designation shows an extensive knowledge of the insurance industry and proves a commitment to protecting our clients.

“I enjoy working with our educational entities. Schools have a lot unique exposures that other business may not,” Kerri said. “From recess, to lunch programs and bus transportation, there is a lot to know and share with our clients.”

Kerri has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, and has worked with Bailey Place for nearly 5 years. She deals with a wide-range of clients in all lines of insurance exposures, but specializes in working with school districts throughout Central New York.

“We’re proud of Kerri, and we’re lucky to have such professional agents at Bailey Place,” said President Steve Franco. “This designation shows a real commitment to making sure our clients have the coverages they need.”

Bailey Place is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Central New York, celebrating 165 years of providing insurance services to Cortland and Tompkins Counties. The agency has offices in Cortland, Dryden, and Ithaca. To learn more visit www.baileyplace.com.
