A man was arrested late last week following sexual abuse allegations, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office report stated that Spencer Burns, 37, of Cortland, allegedly subjected a victim to “inappropriate sexual contact” last Wednesday (Aug. 9) at an undisclosed location in Homer.
Burns was arrested on Saturday (Aug. 12) and charged with first-degree criminal sex act (a Class-B Felony) and endangering the welfare of a child (a Class-A Misdemeanor).
Burns was arraigned, released and now due to appear in Homer town court at a later date.
