Closing dates for the local swim areas have been announced.
The Cortland Youth Bureau (CYB) announced on Thursday via its Facebook page that Yaman Beach is officially closed for the season.
Due to limited lifeguards available, Wickwire Pool will remain open until this Sunday (Aug. 20). The pool will continue to be open daily from noon to 7 p.m.
The splash pad at Suggett Park will be open until mid-September. CYB will announce an official closing date for the splash pad once the weather changes.
