A hot Labor Day awaits today after a few morning clouds.

The clouds this morning may be accompanied by a brief shower, especially around sunrise. The chances for rain are very small though, and if anything does fall, it will remain light enough to be mostly unmeasurable.

Sunshine will increase through the morning hours, and by the afternoon, skies will be mostly sunny. A few thin clouds and maybe a couple small fair weather clouds will be possible.

Like yesterday, winds will be light with speeds around 5 mph. Southwest winds during the morning will turn to the northwest by the afternoon.

Temperatures will tack on a few more degrees today with highs reaching the mid and upper 80s. Dewpoints will be in the mid and upper 60s, making it feel rather muggy.

Skies will clear this evening, but temperatures will be slow to drop. Overnight lows will only make it to the mid 60s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Wednesday: Sunny early, then some clouds and maybe a pop up shower or storm late. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Afternoon thunderstorms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Friday: Sun and clouds. Afternoon thunderstorms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
