Temperatures will continue to climb today with sunny skies.

There should be little in the way of cloud cover during the daytime hours today. Most of the clouds that do pass through will be thin and high in the atmosphere, which should do little to break up the abundance of sunshine.

Temperatures will quickly climb this morning and should break into the 80s this afternoon. Most of the county will stick to the low 80s, but some pockets, particularly around Cortland and in the southern parts of the county, may make a run at the mid 80s.

Dewpoints will be up as well, making it feel a bit on the muggy side. Expect dewpoints in the mid 60s throughout the afternoon and into the nighttime hours.

Winds will be light, spending most of the day at or under 5 mph. What little wind there is will start from the southwest but will end up from the northwest.

Some clouds will increase overnight and a few spits of rain cannot be ruled out after midnight. Most areas will stay dry, and those that do see rain will scarcely see enough to measure.

Evening temperatures will drop to the upper 60s with overnight lows making in to the low 60s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Sunny with a few morning clouds and maybe a stray predawn shower. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 80s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Wednesday: Sunny early, then some clouds and maybe a pop up shower or storm late. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. A few stray pop up showers and storms late. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
