A stalled out front remains over the area, keeping the chances for showers in the forecast again today.

Skies will be cloudy, and it should not be surprising to see some showers at any time of the day. That being said, the afternoon is the most likely time to see rain.

Thunder, some heavy downpours, and periods of steadier rain are all also possible during the afternoon hours.

Rain should dissipate, but not completely disappear, after sunset.

Like the last few days, with the front overhead, non-thunderstorm winds will be nearly calm or light and variable. However, a few stronger wind gusts in any thunderstorms will be possible.

Temperatures will top out in the low to perhaps mid 70s this afternoon. It will continue to feel muggy with dewpoints in the mid 60s.

This evening, temperatures will drop to the mid 60s and will only fall a bit further to the low 60s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: A few morning showers. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Tuesday: Early sun, then some clouds. Maybe a few late showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Wednesday: Morning showers. Maybe some late sun. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs around 70.

Thursday: Clouds, some sun, and a few morning showers. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
