Varsity Girls Soccer: Homer vs. Hannibal

The Homer Lady Trojans won 2-1 against Hannibal in order to improve to a 2-3 overall record Tuesday evening.
Homer was led by Taryn Quinn (1 goal), Amelia Wagner (1 assist), and Alex Kellaway (9 saves).

Homer’s next game will be played at home against Chittenango today (Wednesday, September 20th) at 5:30pm.
Varsity Girls Soccer: McGraw vs. DeRuyter

The McGraw Lady Eagles lost 2-5 on the road against DeRuyter Tuesday afternoon. With this loss, McGraw has fallen to an overall record of 3-4.
McGraw was led by Gianna Guernsey (1 assist), Adrianna Stacconi (1 goal), Julianna Mayr (1 assist), Lexi McCall (1 goal), and Heather Magee (6 saves).
DeRuyter was led by Rhyanna Richardson (4 goals), Annabelle Stanton (1 goal), Abbigail Whalen (1 assist), and Abigail Stanton (3 saves).
McGraw is now scheduled to play Otselic Valley on Thursday (September 21st) at home. The game will begin at 4:30pm.
Varsity Girls Soccer: Marathon vs. Southern Cayuga

The Marathon Lady Olympians tied 0-0 on the road against Southern Cayuga in overtime. With this result, Marathon now holds a 5-3-1 record.
Marathon’s next game will be played against Dryden at 7pm on Thursday (September 21st) at Dryden high school.
Varsity Girls Volleyball: Cortland vs. Fowler

The Cortland Lady Tigers improved to a 3-3 record after defeating Fowler in three straight sets Tuesday night.
Cortland was led by Katie Harris (8 aces), Sophie Mayer (2 digs & 6 aces), Lizzy West (1 kills & 5 aces), and Morgan Howard (4 assists, 1 dig & 3 aces).
Fowler was led by Je'mise Adams (1 kill & 3 digs), Jahnari Brown (1 kill & 1 assist), and Adriene Scott-Brown (1 assist & 1 ace).
Up next, Cortland will play on the road against Phoenix this Thursday (September 21st) at 6pm.

The Homer Lady Trojans lost a tough match against Cazenovia in four sets, bringing their record down to 5-2.
Homer was led by Mackenzie Hubbard (6 kills, 16 digs, 12 assists & 8 aces), Lilly Sorenson (18 kills, 1 block, 6 digs, 6 assists & 5 aces), Mallory Douglass (9 digs, 5 assists & 4 aces), and Samantha Sovocool (1 kill, 9 digs & 1 ace).
Cazenovia was led by Becca Ziemba (2 kills, 1 block, 12 digs, 10 assists & 3 aces), Lucy Bliss (2 kills, 11 digs, 7 assists & 2 aces), Mya Skeele (6 kills, 1 block & 14 digs), and Olivia Prykl (5 kills & 21 digs).
The Lady Trojans will look to bounce back next week on Tuesday (September 26th), as they play on the road against Marcellus. The match will begin at 6:30pm.

Varsity Cross Country: Marathon vs. Multiple Teams (Whitney Dual)
The Marathon Olympians competed in the Whitney Dual meet at Whitney Point high school on Tuesday.
Marathon competed with Whitney Point, Elmira Notre Dame, Dryden, and Moravia.
