High pressure will continue to keep control of our weather for the coming days.

Sunshine will help temperatures rise from a chilly start this morning. Any areas of foggy or early low clouds will quickly dissipate.

There may be a few thin clouds from time to time today. These will have little to no impact on the sunshine, and it will be mostly sunny throughout the day.

Winds will be nearly calm through the morning hours thanks to the high pressure sitting overhead. During the afternoon, a slight north wind will develop with speeds near or under 5 mph.

Afternoon highs will top out in the upper 60s with a few mid 60s in the northern hills.

Evening temperatures will once again quickly drop to the 40s with clear skies and calm winds.

Overnight, a slight southeast wind will develop, which should keep most areas out of the 30s. Still, widespread low 40s are expected for overnight lows.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Friday: Sun and a few clouds, especially late. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs around 70.

Saturday: More clouds than sun. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a few showers. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a few showers. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
