A portion of a street in the city of Cortland will be closed on Friday.

According to Crown City Rising, West Court Street will be closed between Main Street and Monroe Heights to allow construction crews to install water services for properties in the area.

A temporary water service disruption will impact properties in that area of West Court Street. The street will reopen for the weekend.

The various projects on Main Street is the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). Cortland started working on projects last year.
