High pressure will be parked overhead today, bringing another sunny, warm day to the region.

After some areas of early morning fog and low clouds, sunshine will increase through the second half of the morning. Fair weather clouds will continue to mix in with the sunshine through the afternoon.

The fair weather clouds will dissipate shortly before the sun sets, leaving skies clear for the evening and overnight. Once again, though, there will probably be some foggy areas, especially after midnight.

Winds will be nearly calm this morning, then northerly at around or under 5 mph this afternoon.

Temperatures will continue to run well above average with highs in the mid 70s. Evening temperatures will slowly drop into the upper 50s with an overnight low just below 55 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs nearing 80 degrees.

Thursday: Increasing and thickening clouds. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Cloudy with showers likely. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
