The installation of storm sewer systems and other work continued in the city of Cortland on Monday (Oct. 2).

According to Crown City Rising, construction crews will continue installing storm sewer systems on the west side of Main Street between Orchard Street and West Court Street. Parking will be restricted in that area.

Vault work at the former Mullen’s building will keep Orchard Street between Haskell Place and Main Street closed for the time being.

These projects are anticipated to go through Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 3).

The various projects on Main Street are the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). Cortland started working on projects last year.
