While temperatures will still be plenty warm by October standards, we will lose the sunshine today as high pressure departs and a cold front creeps its way eastward through the Great Lakes.

Clouds will be in place throughout the day. The best chance for some limited sunshine to filter through the overcast will be during the morning hours.

Despite the increasing and thickening clouds, no rain is expected today or tonight.

A steady south wind will blow throughout the day. Wind speeds will be as high as 10 mph with gusts frequently around 20 mph.

While not as warm as the last couple of days, temperatures will still be 10-15 degrees above average with highs in the mid and upper 70s.

Tonight, skies will remain cloudy and winds will remain steady. Temperatures will slowly fall to the mid 60s this evening with an overnight low just under 60 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Friday: Cloudy with a few scattered showers. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Saturday: Periods of rain, some possibly heavy. Morning lows in the low 50s. Midday highs in the upper 50s.

Sunday: Breezy with frequent showers. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs around 50 degrees.

Monday: Occasional showers. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.
