Alvena Avenue, abandoned by the city to Guthrie, will now become a dead end for traffic coming from Loope Street or Copeland Avenue.

Visitors to GCMC can access the hospital’s parking lot from the east end of Alvena Avenue and Homer Avenue. People looking to access the emergency department or the Renzi Cancer Center can enter the areas from West Main Street.

GCMC’s parking lot reconstruction project is scheduled for completion by Dec. 1.
