Today will be cloudier than yesterday or Monday, yet temperatures will still rise a few more degrees.

Steady southwest winds will facilitate our warming. The wind speeds will not be overly strong, only coming in at 5-10 mph. But they will still do the trick.

Afternoon temperatures will rise into the mid and upper 60s. That is about 15 degrees above average for this time of the year.

Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day. A stray spit of rain cannot be ruled out here or there, especially in the morning and again around sunset. Most areas will stay dry, though.

Cloudy skies and southwest winds will persist through the night, making for a mild night. By Thursday morning, temperatures will only have dropped to the low 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: More clouds than sun. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs near 70.

Friday: Sun and clouds. A few showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy. A few scattered showers. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Sunday: Cloudy with periods of rain possible. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.
