Multiple projects are underway in the city of Cortland on Wednesday.

Here are the updates:

Main Street

Work to relocate utilities at the intersection of Main Street is expected to continue, but Central Avenue will be open to traffic.

Construction crews will continue to install new storm sewer lines along the east side of Main Street between Central Avenue and Clinton Avenue.

Crews will also be on West Court Street, as they prepare for paving restoration.

Groton Avenue

Construction crews will continue to install sanitary sewer laterals to various properties along Groton Avenue between Main Street and Monroe Heights.

Orchard Street

Orchard Street between Monroe Heights and Main Street will be closed to traffic throughout Wednesday.

Other projects in the area — including paving at the new Cortland County Emergency Communications Center and new curbing and concrete at the former Mullens building — will limit access to Orchard Street.

West Court Street and Haskell Place is open to traffic, which allows for access to parking along Haskell Place and in the Groton Avenue parking lot.
