Low pressure will pass to our south and east today, making for another cold rainy Sunday.

Rain will spread across the region this morning and will fall steadily into the early afternoon.

During the mid and late afternoon, and into the evening, the rain will break up somewhat. Still, there will be widespread, numerous on and off showers.

Steady rain will pick back up after midnight and continue into Monday morning.

The rain will be light, however, with rain totals of one-half to three-quarters of an inch by Monday morning.

Winds will be light today with the center of low pressure nearby. For most of the day, winds will be near or under 5 mph from the east.

Afternoon high temperatures will only be a few degrees warmer than the morning low, topping out in just the mid 40s. The temperature will hold in the mid 40s this evening, dropping down to around 40 degrees overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Early rain coming to an end. A few showers the rest of the day. Morning lows near 40 degrees. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Tuesday: More clouds than sun. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s. Trick-or-treat evening temperatures in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: Rain showers, possibly with some higher elevation snow mixing in. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs around 40 degrees.

Thursday: Some early clouds, then sunny. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
