It will be a chilly Halloween, but precipitation will be limited to brief spits here and there.

A few lake effect snow showers will be possible through the mid-morning hours. After that, southwest winds should carry the lake effect north of the area.

The daytime hours should generally be dry after that, though clouds will be plentiful.

By the early evening, winds will be shifting again, heading back to a west, then northwesterly direction.

Along this wind shift, a few showers and flurries will be possible, including during the trick-or-treating hours. These should be light enough to not cause too many issues for the evening festivities.

High temperatures this afternoon will only be in the low and mid 40s. Shortly after sunset, temperatures will drop to the mid 30s. Overnight lows will make it all the way down to the upper 20s.

Additional lake effect flurries will develop after midnight and continue into early Wednesday.

Wednesday: More clouds than sun. Rain and snow showers. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs around 40 degrees.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
