Varsity Girls Volleyball: Cortland falls in sectional finals against Jamesville-Dewitt

The Cortland Lady Tigers entered the Section III Class A tournament as the No.2-seed, while Jamesville-Dewitt got seeded No.1-seed. Cortland and Jamesville-Dewitt were the only two teams in Section III Class A to play in the tournament. 

Cortland lost the sectional championship after three hard fought sets at Jamesville-Dewitt high school.

Cortland was led by Katie Harris (4 digs, 12 assists & 1 ace), Morgan Howard (1 kill, 8 digs & 1 ace), Nellie Lucas (4 kills & 2 blocks), and Rileigh Madden (4 kills). 

Jamesville-Dewitt was led by Cadence Milligan (3 digs, 29 assists & 2 aces), Merris Kessler (10 kills & 1 block), Claire Trevisani (8 kills & 1 dig), and Sophia Zoghby (2 kills, 1 block, 6 digs & 2 assists). 

With this loss, Cortland ended their season with an overall record of 6-10.
