Your Cortland County weather forecast for Tuesday, November 7, 2023:

It will be a cloudy and breezy day today as a frontal boundary slowly moves through the region.

Temperatures have been on the rise overnight and will continue to increase this morning. During the late morning and early afternoon, temperatures will mostly be steady in the low to mid 50s.

From there, the temperature will drop slightly for the latter half of the afternoon, reaching the upper 40s before sunset. Low 40s are then expected for the evening with overnight lows dropping all the way to around 30 degrees.

It will be cloudy throughout the day with occasional showers and spits of drizzle. This will continue into the evening hours before gradually coming to an end. Some breaks in the clouds will be possible after midnight.

Winds will be from the west, then northwest today. These winds will be blustery, with speeds up to 15 mph and gusts as high as 35 mph.

The wind will be strongest in the morning and early afternoon, but will remain steady into the evening and overnight.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Some evening rain and snow possible. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs near 40.

Thursday: Morning clouds and a few rain showers. Maybe some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. Maybe some rain. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
